I love to find what is interesting to the children in my class and teach them in a way that will be exciting and fun. I am a facilitator and guide for them. When a child makes a discovery or perfects a skill, I consider it a privilege that I was there to help.

In my classroom each day, I use my background in the arts – drawing, painting, music, piano, art history, children’s theater, puppetry and children’s literature to expand each child’s creativity, imagination and self-expression. When I see the children smiling and laughing while I am teaching, I know they are discovering an important lesson… learning is fun.

Two and Three-Year Old Teacher at Creative Learning

Rosemary Howell

Two and Three year olds

I believe that children have a natural curiosity and love of learning, and it is my goal to nurture that each day by providing opportunities to explore, discover, and be successful. What I love most about teaching is seeing that sense of pride on a child’s face when they have mastered a new skill – that spark lights up their face when they believe in themselves. I cannot imagine doing anything else.
