Either way, a great tool for parents to utilize at home is educational websites. These sites allow your kids to have the fun of being on the computer while focusing on education. We have provided a list of some free and subscription websites that you can use to help your child stay on track or get ahead this year!

ABC Mouse – This website provides thousands of activities for kids aged 2 through 7. There is a subscription of 8 dollars a month; however, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial to see if this a good fit for your little one. The website has games and activities that cover reading, science, math, and art/colors. It is also child safe with no pop-up ads or external links.

Khan Academy – For younger students, this website focuses on building math skills. For grades K-12 there are daily challenges that help your child build math skills and show their progress as they complete challenges. This website is also very helpful for teenagers. It covers a variety of math, science, and test prep subjects. This site is completely free to use!

Mr. Nussbaum – This website has a range of activities including math, language arts, history, science, and geography activities, as well as, educational games. Competent readers can read short stories and answer questions to practice reading comprehension. Limited access to this website is free and premium access is only 12 dollars for a full year subscription!

Funbrain Jr. – This website is great for your little ones that are getting ready for preschool and kindergarten. There are fun and educational games to help practice spelling, letter identification, number recognition and much more. The games will keep your little ones entertained while getting them ready for school. The site is completely kid-friendly and free to use!
